From Harold getting one in the eye in 1066, Robin Hood (rhymes with Hollywood) saving the country from tyranny in the 12th century and Rambo saving the world in the 1980’s, bows and arrows have been around for a very long time!

Nearly 2000 years after the Roman Army built the fortress of Deva a new Roman army is marching around the country attempting to conquer and defeat their opponents.
The modern day Chester Romans don armour and helmets and take to the field in their red uniforms, reminiscent of the warriors of old. They have swapped their tetsudo for touchdowns but they still line up in formations as they take to the field of battle to win glory and honour.
